Managing Channels
Connect and manage chat channels in ChatSignals, including live chat, inboxes, and integrations, to centralise and automate customer conversations.
Channels and bots are currently only available for HubSpot data sources.
Channels group your HubSpot inboxes and define where your bots operate. Each channel has one bot.
Create a Channel
- Go to Settings → Channels.
- Click "Add Channel".
- Enter a Name for your channel (e.g., "Support Team").
- Select the HubSpot inboxes you want to include. Each inbox can only be in one channel.
- Click "Create Channel".
A new channel is created, and a default bot is set up for it.
Update a Channel
You can change a channel's name, description, or the inboxes it includes.
- Go to Settings → Channels.
- Click on the channel you want to update.
- Make your changes.
- Click "Save".
Delete a Channel
Deleting a channel is permanent. It removes the channel and its bot configuration.
- Go to Settings → Channels.
- Click the delete icon next to the channel you want to remove.
- Confirm the deletion.
