Creating a Bot

Learn how to create a ChatSignals bot, choose templates, define behaviour, and start automating customer conversations safely and efficiently.

Bots and channels are currently only available for HubSpot data sources.

In ChatSignals, a bot is created by creating a channel. A channel is a group of one or more of your HubSpot inboxes.

To Create a Bot:

  1. Go to SettingsChannels.
  2. Click "Add Channel".
  3. Give the channel a name (e.g., "Support Bot").
  4. Select the HubSpot inboxes you want this bot to work in.
  5. Click "Create Channel".

That's it! A new bot is created with a default configuration.

Accessing Your Bot

To configure and test your new bot:

  1. Navigate to Your Bots.
  2. You'll see a table listing all your channels. Find the channel name you just created.
  3. Click the settings icon next to the channel to configure the bot, or click the chat icon to chat with it.
