Content Ideas
Navigate to Marketing > Content Ideas.
ChatSignals identifies topics your customers frequently ask about and suggests articles, blog posts, or help documentation you could create.
How Content Ideas Are Generated
The system analyses conversation patterns to find:
- Questions that come up repeatedly across different customers.
- Topics where your bot's knowledge sources don't have comprehensive coverage.
- Areas where customers express confusion or need more explanation.
Content Idea Details
Each idea includes:
- Topic: The suggested article subject.
- Article Brief: Key points and questions to address in the content.
- Customer Quotes: Real quotes from conversations that illustrate the need (useful for content research). Ensure you have permission and remove personal data before using quotes publicly.
- Impact Score: Prioritisation based on how frequently the topic appears and how many customers it affects.
Status Management
Track content ideas through your workflow:
- Open: New, unreviewed idea.
- Resolved: Content has been created.
- Rejected: Not worth pursuing.
- Merged: Combined with another similar idea.
Keywords
Navigate to Marketing > Keywords.
Discover keyword opportunities extracted from the actual language your customers use in conversations.
Keyword Analysis
The keywords table shows:
- Keyword: The term or phrase identified from conversations.
- Conversation Count: How many conversations mention this keyword.
- Percentile Score: How this keyword ranks relative to others in your data.
- Opportunity Type: Whether it's a content gap, customer gap, or strong opportunity.
Filtering
- Locale: Filter by language/region if you serve international customers. Useful for creating localised content.
- Opportunity Type: Focus on specific types of keyword opportunities.
- Sort: Order by conversation count, score, or alphabetically.
Using Keywords Effectively
- Content Gaps: Keywords where you have conversations but no corresponding content. These are your highest-priority content opportunities.
- Customer Gaps: Keywords where customers are asking questions that indicate missing documentation or unclear product features.
- Strong Opportunities: Keywords with high conversation volume and good SEO potential.
Cross-reference these keywords with your Content Ideas to prioritise which articles to create first.
